Memorial Cares had a great start today. Over one hundred people took on seven unique projects. We worked on everything for visiting homebound, facilitating an offsite worship experience, cleaning up parks and roadways, helping repair a home, cooking dinner for a shelter, and cleaning up graffiti around town. Thank you Steve, Wendell, Robby, Donna, Kevin, Josue, Lou and John for your leadership in making today a big success. This was a great opportunity to demonstrate to others that Memorial Cares. Church folks do a good job talking, but the when you back it up with action - that's a whole other testimony. I appreciate so much the volunteers who gave of their Sunday afternoon to bless others and beautify our community. It was a good day!
